What Is An IVR? |
 |
| |
|
"IVR"
Stands for "Interactive Voice Response"
Interactive voice response, or IVR, is a computerized
system that allows a person, typically a telephone caller,
to select options from a voice menu and otherwise interact
with the computer phone system. Generally the system plays a
pre-recorded voice prompt and the caller presses a number on
a telephone keypad to select an option - i.e. "press 1 for
yes, press 2 for no". Some IVR systems can also recognize
the caller's simple spoken answer such as "yes", "no", or a
number as a valid response to the voice prompt. |

Simple Simon
hosts custom IVR solutions that help automatically distribute
telephone calls for messages that are routinely distributed to
large numbers of recipients.
This service uses a technology known as Automatic Call
Distribution (ACD), along with IVR technology that can collect a
response from your targeted recipient list of people to call, to
let you know that the call was received and understood.
The types of IVR systems that can be hosted are virtually
limited only to the imagination. Whatever your need should
be, we can design a custom IVR solution for you, that allows
complete control via website or telephone to control and alter
your IVR messages and menus.

Insurance Claim
Status |
 |
| |
|
As with the auto insurance industry, medical insurance claims
create numerous calls each day that take a long time to
service. Often, the nature of the call has to do with an
inquiry regarding the simple disposition of a claim, and
whether or not the claim has been processed and paid.

Insurance Claims
Reporting |
 |
| |
|
Insurance companies process many claims for service and
repair of automobiles that have been involved in accidents.
Many times, the customer needs information on the closest
“authorized” insurance adjuster location or auto repair
shop. In addition, claims must be reported within a certain
period of time, which is difficult on occasion due to the
fact that some accidents occur after hours.

Appointment Scheduling |
 |
| |
|
Patients and doctors sometimes have a difficult time in
agreeing to appointments for routine visits and follow-up
visits. Much of this is as a result of the office staff being
busy, or a desire on the patient’s part to make an
appointment after office hours, for example.

Government
Polling |
 |
| |
|
Opinion polls are gathered by both news
agencies and third parties in order to report on issues
regarding government actions and those actions or decisions
of politicians. Much of this information is gathered by
individual solicitation, and then compiled manually. In
order to provide timely reporting on this information.

Surveys |
 |

|
Constituents of local governing bodies and
councils have encountered many roadblocks in telegraphing
their concerns and issues in a timely and collective
fashion. Whether the issue is a survey of opinions for
immediate action, such as a petition, or a long term item
such as zoning ordinances, it takes much effort and time to
compile a representative sample of the peoples’ ideas.

Student Progress Reports |
 |

Delays in getting report cards, falsified information, and
the lack of interim reporting have always been a problem
for parents. Report cards sometimes take several weeks to
a month to be issued, which could otherwise be time spent
in corrective action or tutoring.

Student Absentee Notifications |
 |
| |
|
A parent usually always knows when a student
is absent at at home due to illness, or for other reasons.
But, oftentimes many student absentee notifications do not
show up until a formal report card, or such is sent home
with the student. Some schools do make calls
to parents to check on reasons for absence, but many schools
find this a daunting task that is regularly neglected.
The concern of many parents is to be notified of absence
when the child is supposed to be in school on a given day.
The task of tracking and reporting on truant students is
difficult, especially for large school populations, and
parents who have irregular working hours. Often, students
will either destroy or alter notes from a school principal
or teacher in order to hide the fact that they have been
“skipping” school.
